Position: Engineering Host – Electrical
As an Engineering Host – Electrical, you’ll play a crucial role in the safe installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all electrical systems within the hotel. From responding to guest requests to maintaining vital systems, your attention to detail and technical expertise will help keep our hotel running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with installation and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure system functionality
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical faults in machinery and infrastructure
- Maintain accurate logs and reports on all maintenance and repair activities
- Ensure all work complies with UAE safety regulations and electrical codes
- Collaborate with engineers on system upgrades and technical improvements
- Support the implementation of new projects and system enhancements
- Respond promptly and professionally to any electrical-related guest concerns
- Promote safe practices and proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Requirements
- Diploma / ITI / Polytechnic certification in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role (hospitality or industrial setting preferred)
- Proficient in reading electrical schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints
- Skilled with electrical testing tools like multimeters and oscilloscopes
- Understanding of control systems, automation, and instrumentation
- Physically fit and comfortable working in elevated or confined spaces
- Flexible to work shifts, overtime, and respond to urgent maintenance needs
- Excellent communication and a team-oriented mindset
