Position: Heavy Duty Driver (Bus Driver)
As a Heavy Duty Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transport of staff between designated pick-up and drop-off points while adhering to traffic and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport employees punctually and safely between facilities or locations
- Follow all trip schedules and assigned routes
- Monitor and report staff transfers, seat utilization, and fuel usage
- Conduct basic vehicle inspections and report mechanical issues promptly
- Maintain high safety standards in accordance with UAE traffic laws
- Adhere to ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management Systems
- Follow EKFC’s Occupational Health and Safety policies
Requirements
- Minimum secondary school education or equivalent
- Valid GCC Driving License No. 6 (Heavy Bus)
- Holding License No. 3 (Light Vehicle) or No. 5 (Minibus) is a bonus
- At least 12 months of experience driving heavy-duty/bus vehicles in the GCC
- Prior experience in airport or logistics environments is a strong advantage
- Good understanding of vehicle inspection and maintenance protocols
- Basic English communication skills (spoken and written)
- Ability to work under pressure and follow detailed procedures
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate and manage conflict effectively
