Position: Maintenance Technician
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for performing advanced repairs and preventive maintenance on facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, mechanical processes, and R&D lab equipment. Youโll also play a leadership role within the team by contributing to task management and technician training.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct preventive and reactive HVAC and mechanical maintenance
- Collaborate with other techs and contractors to ensure minimal disruption to operations
- Lead troubleshooting and repairs of process-specific and automation systems
- Review and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Utilize Centerstone Facility Management Database for workflow control, space planning, and documentation
- Coordinate workspace setups, equipment start-ups, and system testing
- Maintain detailed operational and maintenance logs
- Optimize spare parts inventory and job planning processes
- Ensure compliance with building safety standards and best practices
What Weโre Looking For
- Solid experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Background in property or facilities management is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and team collaboration skills
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure
- Working knowledge of landlord-resident regulations and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook (PowerPoint is a bonus)
- Ability to work independently and manage technical documentation
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
